HobThese Terms govern your use of the Hob app and the gethob.app website, provided by Wichtel.ai LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using Hob, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account. Child and teen members may be added to a household by a responsible adult, who is accountable for overseeing their use. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
2. Households
Hob organizes data around a household. A household administrator can invite and remove members and manage shared content. Members of a household can see shared content according to their role. Treat other members' information with the same care you'd expect for your own.
3. Your content
You and your household own the content you create in Hob. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, sync, back up, and display that content in order to operate the service for you, and to provide the helper features you choose to use. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Hob offers free and paid plans. During beta, access is provided free of charge. When paid plans are offered, pricing, billing intervals, renewals, and any beta or founder pricing will be presented to you before you subscribe, and subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are governed by those stores' billing and cancellation terms in addition to these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Hob to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or access data that isn't yours. We may suspend or limit accounts that do.
6. AI features
Hob includes features that use AI to interpret input and offer suggestions. These are conveniences, not professional advice — including for financial or health-related matters — and may be incomplete or wrong. Review suggestions before relying on them; you remain responsible for decisions you make.
7. Service changes & availability
Hob is under active development, especially during beta. We may add, change, or remove features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
8. Disclaimers
Hob is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or always available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wichtel.ai LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Hob. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Hob and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
